Sofukuji Temple
[1] A temple of the Daitoku-ji school of the Rinzai sect of Buddhism located in Chiyo, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City. Its mountain name is Yokodake-san. In 1240 , Tan'e founded it on Yokodake in Dazaifu. The following year, Enni Ben'en, who had returned from Song, was invited to become its founder. In 1600 , Kuroda Nagamasa moved it to its current location and made it the Kuroda clan's family temple. [2] A temple of the Obaku sect of Buddhism located in Kajiya -cho, Nagasaki City. Its mountain name is Seiju-san. It was founded in 1632 by Chinese merchants Wang and others, with the Fuzhou-born monk Cho-nen as its founder. Ingen Ryūki, Sokuhi Nyoichi and others lived there and renovated the buildings. It is known as a representative example of Obaku sect temple architecture with a Chinese style, and the Daichihomon (Chinese-style gate) and Daiyuhoden hall are national treasures. Sufukuji Temple

[1] An old temple located in Shigasato-machi, Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture. It was founded in the 7th year of the reign of Emperor Tenchi ( 668 ) by imperial order of Emperor Tenchi. It flourished as one of the ten or fifteen great temples, but was burned down by monks of Enryaku-ji Temple in the first year of the Chokan era ( 1163 ) and abandoned. [一] 福岡市博多区千代にある臨済宗大徳寺派の寺。山号は横嶽山。仁治元年(一二四〇)湛慧(たんえ)が大宰府の横嶽に創建。翌年宋から帰朝した円爾弁円を開山に迎えた。慶長五年(一六〇〇)黒田長政が現在地に移し、黒田氏の菩提寺とした。[二] 長崎市鍛冶屋町にある黄檗(おうばく)宗の寺。山号は聖寿山。寛永九年(一六三二)中国商人王氏らが福州出身の僧超然(ちょうねん)を開山として創建。隠元隆琦・即非如一らが住み堂宇を修築した。中国風の様式を持つ黄檗宗寺院の代表的建築として知られ、第一峰門(唐門)・大雄宝殿は国宝。中国人の信徒が多い。支那寺。赤寺。福州寺。唐寺。[三] ⇒すうふくじ(崇福寺)

すうふく‐じ【崇福寺】

[一] 滋賀県大津市滋賀里町にあった古寺。天智天皇七年(六六八)天智天皇の勅願により創建。十大寺または十五大寺の一つとして栄えたが、長寛元年(一一六三)延暦寺の衆徒の手で焼かれて廃絶。礎石や基壇などが残存する。国史跡。志賀寺。志賀山寺。紫郷(しが)山寺。[二] ⇒そうふくじ(崇福寺)
