Japanese: 数表 - すうひょう（英語表記）mathematical table

A table of values of function f ( x ) corresponding to the independent variable x . Sometimes it also refers to empirical numerical tables obtained in laboratories. They originated as lists of numerical values created to reduce the labor of calculations in applied sciences such as special mathematical calculations, engineering, astronomy, physics, chemistry, and statistics. The main numerical tables include various mathematical constants, powers, logarithmic functions, circular functions, exponential functions, hyperbolic functions, prime numbers and primitive roots, exponential tables, factorials, binomial coefficients, Bernoulli numbers and Euler numbers, trigonometric functions and radians, elliptic integrals, Gamma functions, Bessel functions, coefficients of approximate formulas in numerical solutions of functions, and statistical numerical tables.
