[1] [noun] A high mountain. Mount Chongshan. [2][one] A famous mountain in the northwest of Henan Province, China, east of Luoyang. One of the five great mountains of China. The mountain has three peaks, the middle one called Shunji, the east called Taibao, and the west called Shaoshi. It has the Zhongyue Temple, the Houou Temple, the Jianju Temple (formerly Songyue Temple), and the Shaolin Temple. The middle mountain. Mount Song. He was a representative figure of the Gozan literature of the time, and is said to have declined the title of Zen master. He wrote the two-volume "Sozanshu." He lived from the third year of Kenji to the first year of Sadawa ( 1277-1345 ).
