The title of a jiuta/koto song. It is a tegotomono piece that was originally performed as an Edo song or a piece that was performed as a san-shitari-hata-uta piece entitled "Musume Dojoji," with the san-shitari at the beginning changed to honcho, the beginning of the ni-agari section changed to san-shitari, honcho tegoto was inserted, and the rest of the piece changed to honcho. The rendition or composer is believed to be Kikuoka Kengyo or Ishikawa Koto. It is also called "Shin Kanega Misaki," and when used in dance, it is simply called "Kanega Misaki." 地歌・箏曲の曲名。《娘道成寺》と題する三下り端歌物の曲の中で,あるいは江戸歌として行われていた曲を,出の三下りを本調子に,二上りの部分の最初を三下りに改め,本調子の手事を挿入し,その後は本調子に改めて,手事物としたもの。その改曲ないし作曲者には,菊岡検校ないし石川勾当が擬される。《新鐘が岬》ともいい,舞の地に用いられるときは,単に《鐘が岬》という。箏の手付は,流派,地域によって異なり,山田流では《鐘が岬》と称する。
