Taoist scriptures. Compiled and written by Tao Hongjing of the Liang Dynasty in China in the first half of the 6th century. The current edition consists of 20 volumes. Zhenjiao means "the revelation of a sage." It is said that Tao Hongjing edited and edited the transcripts of oral teachings given by Lady Nanyue (Wei Huacun) and other sages in the 3rd year of the Shengping era (359) during the Eastern Jin Dynasty, which were then transcribed by his disciples Yang Xi and Xu Mi. The text conveys the doctrines of the Shangqing school, a sect of Taoism that developed in Maoshan (southeast of Nanjing), explains various Taoist secret arts, and contains the first examples of land god beliefs and huqi. It is the most important source for understanding Taoism in Jiangnan, China in the 5th century. However, some do not consider the current edition to be the original work by Tao Hongjing, and in fact, some parts quoted from other books follow a different classification system than the current edition.

道教経典。6世紀前半，中国，梁の陶弘景の編著。現行本では 20巻。真誥とは，「真人のお告げ」の意味。東晋の升平3 (359) 年に，南嶽夫人 (魏華存) やその他の真人が降臨して口授したものを，弟子の楊羲と許謐とが書写した筆録を，陶弘景が校訂，編集したものとされる。そこには，茅山 (南京の東南) を根拠として発展した道教の一派，上清派の教理が伝えられ，道教の各種の秘術の説明もあり，土地神信仰やフーチーの初例がそこにみえ，5世紀の中国江南の道教を知るには最も重要な資料である。ただし，現行本を陶弘景の真撰そのものと考えない見方もあり，事実，他書に引用されている部分が現行本と異なる分類法に従っている場合もある。
