Neurogenic dysfunction of the urinary bladder

Japanese: 神経因性膀胱機能障害 - しんけいいんせいぼうこうきのうしょうがい(英語表記)neurogenic dysfunction of the urinary bladder
Neurogenic dysfunction of the urinary bladder
A general term for bladder dysfunction caused by damage or disease of the nervous system. It is also called spinal bladder because it is often caused by damage or disease of the spinal cord. Symptoms vary depending on the location of the spinal cord injury, but can be broadly divided into urinary incontinence and difficulty in urinating. Although it causes significant disruption to daily life, it is difficult to treat and is a serious problem for some physically disabled people.
