One of the laws of the warring states. The family law of the Miyoshi clan, a feudal lord of Awa. It has 22 articles. It is said to have been enacted by Shinohara Nagafusa (Shuun), the chief retainer of the Miyoshi clan, and the date of enactment is estimated to have been about 10 years after March 1562 (Eiroku 5). The format of the code follows that of medieval code, which places regulations on shrines and temples at the beginning, but the arrangement of the articles is not necessarily orderly. Its main contents are the prohibition of bribery by the Council of State, the laws on lawsuits and lawsuit procedures such as the provisions on witnesses in lawsuits, the relationship between lords and vassals, the relations between jito and peasants, and inheritance laws such as the transfer of land.
