After the death of Sogi, he was active in the renga world together with Soseki. He was well received by military commanders such as Miyoshi Nagayoshi and Hojo Ujiyasu, and traveled to various places to promote renga. His works include "Tofu Renga Himitsu" (1542), "Togoku Kiko" (1544-1545), "Munchu Sho" and "Yamiyo Icto".
