This natural park is located in northern Wakayama Prefecture, and consists of the mountainous area around Iwashigamine, the main peak of the Nagamine Mountains, and the artificial lake Futagawa Dam in the middle reaches of the Arida River. It has an area of 12.91 km2 . It was designated in 1955. The summit of Iwashigamine is a flat grassland that remains as an elevated peneplain, and offers excellent views. Within the park, there are many scenic spots and ancient shrines, including the following waterfall and Iwashigamine Shrine. 和歌山県北部,長峰山脈の主峰生石ヶ峰を中心とする付近一帯の山地と,有田川中流の人造湖二川ダムから成る自然公園。面積 12.91km2。 1955年指定。生石ヶ峰の山頂は隆起準平原面を残す平坦な草原で,眺望にすぐれる。公園内には次の滝,生石神社など多くの景勝地,古社がある。
