Kawakami Hajime's personal magazine, first published by Kobundo Shobo in January 1919. It was a monthly publication. It ceased publication with the 106th issue in October 1930. Suzuki Yasuzo edited issues 90 (March 1929) to 95. After the publication of Poverty Story in 1917 and A Look at Social Issues the following year, Kawakami rapidly approached Marxism from the standpoint of ethical social reformism, and with this magazine he took his first steps as a Marxist. Kawakami was the only one to write the first 89 issues, and we can see the progress of his Marxist studies.

1919年1月弘文堂書房から発刊された河上肇（かわかみはじめ）の個人雑誌。月刊。30年10月第106冊をもって終刊した。第90冊(1929年3月)から95冊までは鈴木安蔵が編集している。1917年《貧乏物語》，翌年の《社会問題管見》の刊行以後，倫理的な社会改良主義の立場から急速にマルクス主義に接近した河上は，この雑誌によってマルクス主義者としての第一歩を踏み出した。第89冊までは河上ただ1人が執筆し，彼のマルクス主義研究の進展のあとをうかがうことができる。
