〘Noun〙 In the Nara and Heian periods, this refers to fields that were set aside for various specific uses. In a broad sense, it refers to fields that were occupied by private individuals, such as kubunden, shikiden, iden, and kouden, other than nori-da (public fields), but usually it refers to fields that were specially set aside, such as kuni-sha-da, shiki-sha-da, and choku-shi-da. There were both non-import and import types. ※Ruijyukokushi - 182, Bukdo 9, Tera-da-da, 793 (12th year of Enryaku), July Xin Hao "Kuzuno County peasant kubunden, many were received from the capital , and one peasant was given one lot of miscellaneous fields in Yamashiro Province, in return for 24 placements in Kinai."

〘名〙 奈良・平安時代、各種の特定の用途のために設定された田地。広義には乗田(公田)以外の口分田、職田、位田、功田など私人に占有されている田地をいうが、通常は国写田、職写田、勅旨田など特別に設定されたものをいう。不輸租、輸租の両様があった。※類聚国史‐一八二・仏道九・寺田地・延暦一二年(793)七月辛卯「葛野郡百姓口分田、多入都中、宜停山背国雑色田給百姓、其代於四畿内置」
