Binpo no ho, a fief of Gion Shrine located in Sera County, Bingo Province. It is identified with the current Kodo, Kono Town, Kono County, Hiroshima Prefecture. It is also called "Kowaraha no ho." In 1098 (Shotoku 2), a fief of a fief was donated to Gion Shrine to pray for the recovery of Emperor Horikawa from illness, which later evolved into a fief of a fief. It was one of the four fiefs of Gion Shrine established around the same time, and was under the control of the shrine for a long time. The fief of a fief was passed down to the priest Shoson, who is said to be the "principal donor of the development of Shotoku," and later to his disciples, but in the Kamakura period, a dispute between family members led to the intervention of the executioners of the time, and the process of succession was complicated.
