Chromaticity is a term used to describe the properties of color that are expressed optically as numbers, and the numerical value of that value. It is a physical quantitative measurement of the stimuli of the three basic colors that make up a color: red, green, and blue. It simultaneously displays the hue and saturation of a color, and is used internationally as an optical color representation method.
