Born: 1459 Edirne
[Died] 1495. Prince of Mehmet II, the seventh Sultan of the Ottoman Empire of Naples. After his father's death, his brother Bayezid ascended to the throne, but fearing that he would be killed by his brother, he fought to seize the throne, but was defeated and fled to Europe. He was used in political struggles and died in Naples. His dramatic life has been the subject of poetry and literature.

The word means gemstone, but generally refers to small carved precious stones. It was popular in Mesopotamia, Persia, Greece and Rome, and Roman gemstones in particular were famous for using gemstones with multiple color layers such as sardonyx. Depending on the type of carving, they are divided into relief carvings (cameo) and recessed carvings (intaglio).
