Japanese: 酸素吸入 - さんそきゅうにゅう

Inhalation of oxygen or air with high oxygen partial pressure. This is done in cases of oxygen deficiency such as respiratory distress, shock, and anemia, as well as during general anesthesia during surgery and postoperative therapy. Oxygen masks, oxygen nasal catheters, oxygen tents (which circulate air with high oxygen partial pressure inside a tent that covers the upper half of the patient's body), and oxygen rooms are used, and if ventilation is impaired, a respirator may be used to artificially breathe.

酸素または酸素分圧の高い空気を吸入させること。呼吸困難，ショック，貧血などの酸素欠乏状態や，手術時全身麻酔，手術後療法の際に行う。酸素マスク，酸素鼻腔カテーテル，酸素テント（患者の上半身をおおうテント内に酸素分圧の高い空気を循環させる），酸素室などが用いられ，換気障害がある場合は，レスピレータを用いて人為的に呼吸を行うこともある。
