Japanese: アルソニウム塩 - アルソニウムえん（英語表記）arsonium salt

A general term for the arsenic analogues of ammonium and phosphonium salts, (H ₄ As) ⁺ ^X- and their substituted derivatives (R ₄ As) ⁺ ^X- (X is a monovalent anion, R is an alkyl or aryl group). The reaction of arsine R ₃ As with an alkyl halide R'X gives tetraalkylarsonium halide salts (R ₃ R'As) ⁺ ^X- , which can be further reacted with silver hydroxide to give tetraalkylarsonium hydroxides. The reaction of tetraalkyl (or aryl)arsonium halide with an organolithium compound gives arsorane R ₅ As.

アンモニウム塩やホスホニウム塩のヒ素類似体である(H₄As)^＋X^－およびその置換体(R₄As)^＋X^－の総称(Xは1価の陰イオン，Rはアルキル基またはアリール基)。アルシンR₃Asとハロゲン化アルキルR′Xとの反応により，ハロゲン化テトラアルキルアルソニウム塩(R₃R′As)^＋X^－が合成できる。これをさらに水酸化銀と反応させれば水酸化テトラアルキルアルソニウムとなる。ハロゲン化テトラアルキル(あるいはアリール)アルソニウムと有機リチウム化合物との反応によりアルソランR₅Asが合成できる。
