Nisa

Gadymy Nusaý is an archaeological city in southwestern Turkmenistan, located about 15 km west of the capital, Ashgabat. From the 3rd century BC to the 3rd century AD, there was Old Nisa, where the Parthian royal palace was located, and New Nisa, where the common people lived. Each area is surrounded by a city wall, and the two areas are about 1.5 km apart. Excavations began in the 1930s, and ivory statues and pottery fragments were discovered, which are now kept in the National Museum. In 2007, it was registered as a World Heritage Site (cultural heritage) under the name "Parthian Fortress of Nisa".

《Gadymy Nusaý》トルクメニスタン南西部にある都市遺跡。首都アシガバットの西約15キロメートルに位置する。紀元前3世紀から紀元後3世紀には、パルティア王国の王宮があった旧ニサと、庶民の居住区だった新ニサが存在していた。それぞれが城壁に囲まれ、両区は互いに約1.5キロメートル離れている。1930年代から発掘調査が始まり、象牙の彫像や陶片などが発見され、現在国立博物館に所蔵されている。2007年に「ニサのパルティア時代の城砦群」という名称で世界遺産（文化遺産）に登録された。
