Sanjo Sanefusa
1147-1225 A court noble from the late Heian to Kamakura period.
Born in the third year of the Kyūan era. His father was Sanjō Kinnori. His mother was the daughter of Fujiwara no Kiyotaka. In the first year of the Kenkyū era, he was promoted to the position of Minister of the Left. He was well versed in court customs and served as a teacher of public affairs. He passed away on August 17, the first year of the Karoku era. He was 79 years old. He wrote a diary called "Gumaiki."
