A form of classical Chinese poetry. A poem composed of lines of random length. The shortest line is one line, the longest can be more than ten lines, but generally there are lines of seven, five, or three lines. It is also called "long and short lines." There are no miscellaneous lines in the kotai style, and all of this form corresponds to the ancient style of poetry.
