Sataku Jyomyō

Japanese: 沙宅紹明 - さたくじょうみょう

?-673 A scholar and aristocrat from Baekje (Korea).
He went into exile after Baekje was destroyed. In the 10th year of Emperor Tenji's reign, he was awarded the rank of Daikin when he was serving as the Minister of Justice. He is also said to be the author of the inscription on Fujiwara no Kamatari's monument. He died on the 6th of the 6th month of the leap year of the 2nd year of Emperor Tenmu's reign. After his death, he was awarded the rank of Geshoushii (external purple) and the rank of Daisahei (major general) in his home country. He was also known as Sara Shomei.

百済がほろびたのち亡命。天智(てんじ)天皇10年法官大輔(たいふ)のとき,大錦(だいきん)下をさずけられた。藤原鎌足(かまたり)の碑文の作者ともいう。天武天皇2年閏(うるう)6月6日死去。没後,外小紫位(げしょうしい)と本国での大佐平(だいさへい)の位をおくられた。沙吒昭明ともかく。
