Japanese: 李泌 - りひつ（英語表記）Lǐ Bì

Chinese Tang Dynasty politician. His courtesy name was Changyuan. He was from Jingzhao (Xi'an, Shaanxi Province). He was recognized by Emperor Xuanzong at the age of seven, and had a close relationship with Suzong when he was still Prince. He was hated by Yang Guozhong and An Lushan, so he hid in a famous mountain, but when the An Lushan Rebellion broke out and Suzong ascended to the throne, he served him closely and was highly regarded by the Prime Minister. He then lived in the mountains of Hengshan for ten years, and during the reign of Emperor Daizong, he traveled around the country, but when the Zhubi Rebellion broke out during the reign of Emperor Dezong, he was summoned to serve as the head of the Xingyuan Government, and was eventually appointed Prime Minister, where he made his own proposals on policies against the Tubo.

中国，唐の政治家。字は長源。京兆(陝西省西安市)の人。7歳にして玄宗に認められ，太子時代の粛宗と親密に交際した。楊国忠と安禄山に憎まれたので名山に隠れたが，安禄山の乱が勃発して粛宗が即位すると，側近くに仕えて宰相より重んぜられた。ついで衡山に山居すること10年，代宗の治世には地方回りをしたが，徳宗のとき朱沘（しゆし）の乱がおこると興元府の行在に召し出され，やがて宰相に任じられ，対吐蕃（とばん）政策などで独自の提言を行った。
