A Baekje fragmentary stone monument discovered in Buyeo, Korea (1948). It is part of a stone monument erected in the 14th year of King Uija of Baekje (654) to commemorate the construction of a Buddhist temple and a pagoda by Sadak Chijeok of Nagiseong Fortress with his own money. On the surface of the monument, divided by thin lines, is inscribed a 56-character (14 characters, 4 lines) sentence in the Northern Dynasty style of block script (→Benreitai) beginning with "9th day of the first month of the year of Gabin." 韓国,扶余で発見 (1948) された百済の断碑。百済義慈王 14 (654) 年,奈祇城の砂宅智積が私財を投じ仏堂,宝塔を建立したのを記念して建てられた石碑の一部。細線で区画した碑面に,「甲寅年正月九日」で始る 56字 (14字4行) の北朝風の楷書で書かれた駢儷体 (べんれいたい) (→駢文 ) の文が刻まれている。字径約 5cm。
