Japanese: 木下蔭狭間合戦 - このしたかげはざまかっせん

Ningyo joruri. Historical piece. 10 acts. First performed in February 1789 (Kansei 1) at Onishi Shibai in Osaka. A collaboration between Wakatake Fuemi, Chikamatsu Yoshichi, and Namiki Sosuke (Senryu). Yoshichi was from Jippensha Ikkyu. One of the Taikokimono. Among the stories of Hideyoshi's life, known as the true novel Shinsho Taikoki and the reading book Ehon Taikoki, this piece is set against the backdrop of Imagawa Yoshimoto's Battle of Okehazama and includes a contest of wits between Takenaka Kanbei (the historical Hanbei), the strategist of Saito Tatsuoki of Mino, and Konoshita Tokichi (Kinoshita Tokichirō), the strategist of Oda Harunaga (Oda Nobunaga), as well as the activities of the bandit Ishikawa Goemon.

人形浄瑠璃。時代物。10段。1789年(寛政1)2月大坂大西芝居初演。若竹笛躬（わかたけふえみ），近松余七，並木宗輔(千柳)の合作。余七は十返舎一九。太閤記物の一つ。実録小説《真書太閤記》や読本《絵本太閤記》などで知られた秀吉一代記のうち，今川義元の桶狭間（おけはざま）の戦を背景に，美濃の斎藤竜興の軍師竹中官兵衛(史実の半兵衛)と，小田春永(織田信長)の軍師此下当吉（このしたとうきち）(木下藤吉郎)との知略比べや，盗賊石川五右衛門の活動などを取り合わせたもの。
