Okutango earthquake

...The coastline is designated as the San'in Kaigan National Park and the Wakasa Bay Quasi-National Park, and tourism development is also thriving. In the southern part of Gomura, there is a fault line created by the 1927 Okutango earthquake, which has been designated as a natural monument. There is also the Choshiyama Kofun (history).
