Japanese: 御当代記 - ごとうだいき

A record of what Mosui saw and heard from 1680 (Enpo 8) to 1702 (Genroku 15). Written by Toda Mosui. Beginning with the inauguration of the fifth shogun, Tokugawa Tsunayoshi, Mosui provides a detailed chronological account of the various events he saw and heard, including Tsunayoshi's character, the trends in his administration, the customs of Edo city, and natural disasters, with some criticism thrown in. As well as being a highly reliable historical source on the politics and social conditions of the Genroku period, it is also a good resource for examining Mosui's character as a reformer of the art of waka poetry. This book was kept secret in the home of a descendant of Mosui who emigrated to Shinshu, and was introduced to the world by Sasaki Nobutsuna in the 20th century.

1680年(延宝8)から1702年(元禄15)までの見聞記録。戸田茂睡著。5代将軍徳川綱吉の就任に筆を起こし，綱吉の性格，施政の動向，江戸市中の風俗から天変地異など，茂睡の見聞した諸事件を，批判をまじえつつ詳細に編年体で記述している。元禄時代の政治や世相について信頼度の高い史料であるとともに，歌道改革者としての茂睡の性格考察にもよい材料といいうる。本書は信州へ移住した茂睡の子孫の家に秘蔵せられ，20世紀に入ってから佐佐木信綱によって世に紹介された。
