Books written by Hirata Atsutane. 2 volumes. In 1804 (Bunka 1), he became independent under the name Masugenoya and gave lectures to his disciples, which he had his disciples transcribing in the 11th year. These are "The Summary of the Ancient Ways," "The Summary of Popular Shintoism," "A Summary of the Western Lands," "Shutsujo Shogo," "The Stonework of Shizu," "Ibuki Oroshi," and "The Summary of the Way of Poetry." This book explains how the imperial line has continued since the beginning of the world, and how our country is superior to other nations in terms of things and practices, but it owes much to Motoori Norinaga's "Naobi no Mitama," and although Atsutane's original ideas can be seen, it is known that in this early stage the work was strongly influenced by Norinaga's work.
