Mitsuyasu Aho

…Also written as Abo. A medieval samurai family whose main territory was Abo-go, Kami-gun, Musashi Province. It began when Sanemitsu, a descendant of the Musashi Seven Clans and Tan-to, took the name Abo. After becoming a member of the Kamakura Gokenin (vassals of the Kamakura clan) and forming a marriage relationship with the Hojo clan, the family was always pro-Hojo, but the main line of the family was destroyed by the fall of the shogunate and the Nakasendai Rebellion. However, Mitsuyasu, who fought for the Ashikaga side in the same Nakasendai Rebellion and distinguished himself in battle, recovered the main line of the family's former territory, which consisted of the main territory and the Jokyu Merit Land, and also acquired new Merit Land, succeeding the main line of the Abo clan. He suppressed illegitimate children such as Abo Naozane, who was known for his villainous activities and refined manners in Harima, and developed as a local lord centered on the main territory. …
