Wù zhēn piān (English: The True Story of God)

Japanese: 悟真篇 - ごしんへん（英語表記）Wù zhēn piān

One of the Chinese Taoist scriptures. Written by Zhang Boduan (987-1082), a Ziyang Zhen of the Northern Song Dynasty. It describes the philosophy of Taoism in poetic expression. In the ancient Jin Dynasty's Baopuzi, Ge Hong (菫洹) claimed that one could become a sage by taking an elixir made from cinnabar and mercury. In contrast, the Wuzhenpian chapter advocates the theory of the internal elixir, which claims that humans are originally endowed with something that can replace cinnabar and mercury, the true yin-yang energy of the dragon and tiger, and that one can become a sage by training this energy to create an elixir within the body.

中国の道教経典の一つ。北宋の紫陽真人張伯端(987‐1082)の撰。金丹道教の哲理を詩的表現を用いて述べたものである。古く，晋の葛洪（かつこう）の《抱朴子》では，丹砂，水銀を鍛錬して金丹を作り，それを服用すれば仙人になれるとする。これに対して，《悟真篇》では，人間には，本来，丹砂，水銀に替わるものが備わっている，それが竜虎真陰陽の気であって，これを鍛錬して体内に金丹を作れば仙人になれるとする内丹説を説く。
