…Greek mythological monster. Also called Typhōeus. When the Olympian gods conquered the Titans and Gigantes, the children of Gaia (the Earth), the last child born to her in anger. Typhoeus had a height that reached the heavens, arms that could reach the eastern and western ends of the earth if stretched out, a hundred snake heads, eyes that could shoot fire, and from his thighs down his legs were coiled like giant poisonous snakes.
