Melanoma

Japanese: 黒色腫 - こくしょくしゅ

A circular or oval black hemispherical protrusion is seen on the nape, neck, armpits, or groin. It is classified into three types: benign, malignant, and pseudotype. The benign type is also called juvenile melanoma and is considered to be a variant of nevus cell macules. The prognosis is good. The malignant type is a cancer derived from melanocytes and is associated with visceral cancer. The pseudotype is often associated with adiposity and will disappear if the obesity is reduced.

うなじや頸部，腋下，太もものつけ根などに円形まはた楕円形上の黒色の半球状の隆起が見られるもの。良性型，悪性型，仮性型の三つに分類される。良性型は若年性黒色腫ともいわれ，母斑細胞斑の一異型とされる。予後良好。悪性型はメラニン細胞由来の癌(がん)で，内臓癌を合併する。仮性型は多くは脂肪過多症に合併し，肥満を解消することによって退消する。
