Japanese: 国際電気通信連合憲章･条約 - こくさいでんきつうしんれんごうけんしょうじょうやく（英語表記）Constitution,Convention of the International Telecommunication Union

A provision aimed at facilitating peaceful relations and international cooperation among nations through the good operation of telecommunications. At the 1992 Additional Plenipotentiary Conference of the International Telecommunication Union, the previous International Telecommunication Union Treaty was amended and divided into two, with its permanent provisions becoming the Charter and the other general provisions becoming the Treaty. The Charter consists of 9 chapters and 58 articles, and stipulates the purpose and organization of the Union, as well as the procedures for joining the Charter. The Treaty consists of 6 chapters and 42 articles, and stipulates the operation of the Union, general provisions regarding meetings, internal rules, etc.

電気通信の良好な運用により各国間の平和的関係および国際協力を円滑にすることなどを目的とする規定。1992年の国際電気通信連合追加全権委員会議で，それまでの国際電気通信連合条約を改正かつ二分し，その恒久的な条項を憲章とし，他の一般的条項を条約とした。憲章は9章58条から成り，連合の目的および組織に関する規定，憲章への加入手続きなどを定める。条約は6章42条から成り，連合の運営，会議に関する一般規定，内部規則等を定めている。
