International business

Japanese: 国際経営 - こくさいけいえい（英語表記）international business

Business activities that are carried out across borders. By function, a company's international business activities include marketing, manufacturing, finance, human resources, and raw materials procurement, and are carried out in international locations. Multinational business policies are required through the establishment of local subsidiaries, full investment, joint ventures, and technical collaborations. The basic goal is to increase business efficiency by appropriately allocating management resources such as people, goods, and money on a global scale, but it is also necessary to adapt to the different business environments of each country. Research into such international business policies and management of companies has formed a new research field called international business management, and courses on this subject are offered at major American business schools.
