Its official name is the Synthetic Chemical Industry Workers' Union Federation. It was formed in 1950 when the organizations of synthetic chemical industry workers that had been organized by sector after World War II merged with the formation of the General Council of Trade Unions of Japan (Sohyo). In 1979, it unified with General Chemicals (a merger of the three organizations, the former Chemical Union, the United Chemical Workers' Union, and the All Japan Federation of Trade Unions), which organized the small and medium-sized processing chemical sector. It joined Rengo in 1987. →Related article Kaoru Ota Source : Heibonsha Encyclopedia About MyPedia Information |
