Japanese: 合化労連 - ごうかろうれん

Its official name is the Synthetic Chemical Industry Workers' Union Federation. It was formed in 1950 when the organizations of synthetic chemical industry workers that had been organized by sector after World War II merged with the formation of the General Council of Trade Unions of Japan (Sohyo). In 1979, it unified with General Chemicals (a merger of the three organizations, the former Chemical Union, the United Chemical Workers' Union, and the All Japan Federation of Trade Unions), which organized the small and medium-sized processing chemical sector. It joined Rengo in 1987.

正称は合成化学産業労働組合連合。第２次大戦後部門別に組織された合成化学産業労働者の組織が1950年総評（日本労働組合総評議会）結成を契機に合同して結成。1979年，中小・加工化学部門を組織する化学一般（旧化学同盟，合化労連合同労組，全統一の３組織を統合したもの）との組織統一を実現。1987年連合に加盟。
