High energy astronomy

A branch of astronomy that studies phenomena related to high-energy cosmic rays. It covers a wide range of issues, including supernova phenomena, the origin of cosmic rays, radio galaxies and quasars, X-ray objects and neutron stars, neutrino astronomy and gamma ray astronomy, cosmic microwave background radiation, and cosmology. Methodologically, it seeks to clarify the structure of celestial bodies based on quantum mechanics and the theory of special relativity, which deal with high-energy phenomena. However, with the development of radio astronomy and X-ray astronomy, understanding of individual celestial bodies has deepened, and high-energy astronomy is being broken down into even more fields.
