Akiyuki Kenmochi
1790-1871 A Japanese mathematician in the late Edo period.
Born on November 3, 1790. Studied under Ono Yoshishige and Uchida Itsumi. Traveled around the Kanto region teaching Japanese mathematics. Died on June 10, 1871. Age 82. Born in Kozuke (Gunma Prefecture). His pen name was Nariki. He was commonly known as Yoshichi. His pen name was Yozan. His works include "Tansai Sanpo" (Tansai Calculation Method).

寛政2年11月3日生まれ。小野栄重(よししげ),内田五観(いつみ)らにまなぶ。関東地方を遊歴して和算をおしえた。明治4年6月10日死去。82歳。上野(こうずけ)(群馬県)出身。字(あざな)は成紀。通称は要七。号は予山。著作に「探賾算法」など。
