Primitive accumulation is a translation of the English term. In pre-capitalist societies, farmers and craftsmen were forced to have their land and tools taken away from them, and were turned into wage laborers. Capital was then accumulated, and capital was formed. Basically, wage laborers were created by the enclosure of farmers from their land, and capital was accumulated through the confiscation of common land and church lands, the slave trade, colonial policies, taxes, public debt systems, etc. → Related topics Capital | Capitalism | Das Kapital | Colonies Source : Heibonsha Encyclopedia About MyPedia Information |
