Roman politician and soldier. Eldest son of Emperor Tiberius's brother, NC Drusus, and husband of Agrippina the Elder. Adopted by Tiberius in 4 AD, he served in Pannonia and Germania at a young age, and in 13 AD became military commander in the Rhine region. From 14 to 16 AD, he fought against Germanic tribes and achieved many feats. In 17 AD, Tiberius gave him superior command of the eastern provinces, and he toured Armenia and Asia, but he suddenly died in 19 AD in Antioch, Syria. One theory is that he was poisoned by Piso, the governor of Syria, who was in conflict with Tiberius, and Tiberius.

ローマの政治家，軍人。ティベリウス帝の弟N.C.ドルススの長男，大アグリッピナの夫。紀元4年にティベリウスの養子となり，若くしてパンノニアやゲルマニアに従軍し，13年にライン川方面の軍司令官となった。14‐16年にはゲルマンの諸部族と交戦し，多くの功績をたてた。17年にティベリウスにより東方属州の上級命令権を与えられアルメニアやアシアを巡察したが，19年シリアのアンティオキアで急死。一説では，彼と対立していたシリア総督ピソとティベリウスによる毒殺とも言われる。
