A eunuch in the Northern Song Dynasty under Emperor Huizong. He gained power through an alliance with the Prime Minister Cai Jing. He played an active role in military administration, such as strategizing in the northwestern border area bordering Western Xia and suppressing the Fang La Rebellion (a peasant rebellion). He intended to recover the Yanyun region, but in 1122 (the 4th year of Xuanhe), he led a large army into the Liao Dynasty and was defeated, which allowed the Jin army to advance into the Yanyun region and even caused them to move south. His ten major crimes were counted and he was killed.

中国，北宋の徽宗朝の宦官。宰相の蔡京と結んで勢力を得た。西夏と接する北西辺の経略を行い，また方臘の乱 (農民の反乱) を鎮定するなど軍政に活躍した。燕雲地方の回復を意図したが，宣和4 (1122) 年遼に大軍を出して大敗し，かえって金軍の燕雲地方進出を許すことになり，さらには金軍の南下を引起すことになった。その十大罪が数え上げられて殺された。
