Nghe‐Tinh Soviet

A peasant movement that took place in the central Vietnamese provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh from 1930 to 1931. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, which had just been founded in February 1930, peasant demonstrations were organized on May Day in May. After repeated clashes with the authorities of French Indochina, the peasant demonstrations began to become armed, attacking village officials and local administrative offices and paralyzing their functions. By September, administrative executive committees, or rural Soviet governments, had been established in many villages, centered around Communist Party branches and peasant associations.

1930年から31年にかけてベトナム中部のゲアン，ハティン両省に展開された農民運動。30年2月に創設されたばかりのベトナム共産党の指導下に，5月のメーデーに農民デモが組織された。以降仏印(フランス領インドシナ)当局との衝突を繰り返しながら，農民デモは武装化し始め，村役人や地方行政府を襲撃してその機能を麻痺させた。9月には多くの村々で，共産党支部と農会が中心となって行政執行委員会すなわち農村ソビエト政権が樹立されるに至った。
