Guze Kannon - Guze Kannon

Japanese:
Guze Kannon - Guze Kannon
Generally, the name of the Guze Kannon is another name for the Sei Kannon, and its appearance is often said to be stroking a jewel in front of its stomach, but the name of the Guze Kannon does not appear in the sutras, so it is not necessarily clear. In Japan, the most well-known is the secret Buddha image (national treasure) of the Yumedono Hall of Horyuji Temple, which was created during the Asuka period, and the "Half-seated Bodhisattva" of Shitennoji Temple in Osaka, made during the Hakuho period, and the "Half-seated Bodhisattva" of Sanzenin Temple in Kyoto, made during the Kamakura period, were also created as Guze Kannon.
