Monotropa uniflora; Indian pipe
A perennial plant of the family Pontederiaceae. It is found in the temperate zones of East Asia and North America, and its habitat and shape are similar to that of silver bellflower, but it differs in that it flowers later and produces dry capsules. It is also called autumn silver bellflower.
