〘noun〙① A story that uses other things to express lofty ideas or morals. →Fable. ※Kakaisho (around 1362) 1 "Is this sentiment similar to Zhuangzi's fables?" [Records of the Grand Historian - The Laozi, Zhuangzi, Shenhan Biography]② A representative haiku theory of the Danrin school, begun by Nishiyama Soin and developed and advocated by Oka Nishi Ichu in "Haikai Mogyo." He strongly argued that Zhuangzi's "fables" are the essence of haiku, but he did not grasp the essence of Zhuangzi's ideas, and only accepted the terminology, materials, and expressions. In actual work, it refers to bizarre, humorous fictions, metaphorical expressions, etc. Source: The Selected Edition of the Japanese Language Dictionary About the Selected Edition of the Japanese Language Dictionary Information |
