Dried fish - Kiriboshi
A type of dried vegetable. Sweet potatoes and eggplants are also used, but the general term is kiriboshi daikon (dried dried radish). Radish cut into slices and dried in the sun. Soft and sweet ones such as Miyashige daikon are good, and there are long, thin strips of shikiriboshi, rectangular strips of kakukiboshi, and round slices of hanamarukiboshi. Rehydrate in water and boil with fried tofu, or make hariharizuke (pickled vegetables).
