A genetic term. A hereditary trait that kills other individuals of the same species. It has been found in Paramecium and Pancoccus. The killer is called the killer, and the killed is called the incentive. The killer produces toxins and is resistant to toxins itself, but the incentive does not have any. The gene for the killer trait is inherited in the cytoplasm, but nuclear genes are also involved in its expression. Source : Heibonsha Encyclopedia About MyPedia Information |
