...The Nenets, some of the Yakuts, the inland Chukchi and the Koryaks lived a nomadic life following reindeer herds. Their dwellings were tents called yarangas. These were round-roofed tents made of three poles tied together at the top to form a main pillar, with dozens of vertical poles set up in a circle, on which the crossbeams of the roof were placed, and the whole was covered with reindeer fur.
