A town in Awa County in southern Chiba Prefecture. Facing the Uraga Strait, Nokogiriyama is on the northern border. Katsuyama, the central settlement where the Uchibo Line runs, and Yasuda in the north are both fishing port towns, and Yasuda in particular is famous for its beaches. The coast is part of Minami-Boso Quasi-National Park. Flower and vegetable cultivation, and dairy farming are thriving. 45.19 km2 . 8,950 people (2010).
