Administrative Review - Gyoseishinpan

Japanese: 行政審判 - ギョウセイシンパン
Administrative Review - Gyoseishinpan
This is a system in which administrative agencies or administrative committees take litigation-like procedures, such as public oral hearings, when deciding on administrative dispositions and hearing appeals. If there is a complaint about a ruling, the matter can be appealed to the High Court. This applies to hearings by the Marine Accident Tribunal, the National Tax Tribunal, the Fair Trade Commission, the Japan Patent Office, the Expropriation Commission, the Labor Commission, etc.
