Eczema occurs on the head, face, ear canal, armpits, etc., where the sebaceous glands are developed and secrete a lot of sebum. It occurs in infants around one month after birth and in adolescents, when sebum secretion is active. Along with the clearly defined rash, greasy yellowish scales merge and form scabs. Wash the affected area with soap to keep it clean, and apply zinc oxide ointment or a weak corticosteroid.

皮脂腺が発達して皮脂の分泌の多い，頭，顔面，外耳道，腋下などに生じる湿疹。生後１ヵ月前後の乳児と思春期の，皮脂分泌の盛んな時期に起こる。境界の鮮明な皮疹とともに脂っぽい黄色みを帯びた鱗屑(りんせつ)が融合し，かさぶた状になる。患部をセッケンで洗って清潔を保ち，亜鉛華軟膏や弱い副腎皮質ホルモン剤を外用する。
