Dates of birth and death unknown. A powerful clansman in the Kibi region around the 5th century. His real name is Kibi Kamitsumichi no Omi Tasa. He appears in the "Nihon Shoki" Emperor Yuryaku's 7th year article. Hearing Tasa boast at court about his wife Wakahime being an unparalleled beauty, Yuryaku appointed Tasa as Mimana kokushi and sent him to Korea, and kidnapped Wakahime while Tasa was away. When Tasa found out about this, he entered Silla and, together with Silla, opposed Yuryaku. In response, Yuryaku dispatched Tasa and Wakahime's son Otogimi to Korea along with Kibi no Amabe no Atai Akao, ordering them to invade Silla and bring back Baekje engineers. When Tasa learned that his younger brother had come to Korea, he sent an envoy to advise him to base himself in Mimana and his younger brother in Baekje to oppose Yuryaku, but in the end they did not follow through. This legend is unreliable as it contains various legends and alternative theories.
