Takanori - Kitoku

The name of a Bugaku piece. It is a dance of the right side, and one of the representative pieces of martial arts dance. It is a one-person dance. After the prelude "Komakoranjo", the dancer ascends to the stage to the sound of "Komaranjo", and after the prelude of "Konetori", the dance begins with the "Ha" and "Kyu" sections of the main piece in the Goryeo Ichikotsu style. The dancer wears a ryoto (pants) costume and a mask with a "carp mouth" and a "human face", wears a sword, and dances with a spear. It is said to be a dance based on the story of Lord Guidoku of Shushen country in the Han dynasty, and is also written as "Guidoku".

舞楽の曲名。右方の舞で，武の舞の代表曲の一つ。1人舞。前奏曲として「高麗小乱声 (こまこらんじょう) 」があったあと，「高麗乱声」によって舞人が登台，「小音取 (こねとり) 」の前奏を経て，高麗壱越 (いちこつ) 調の当曲 (中心曲) の「破」と「急」の章とが奏されて，舞が舞われる。舞人は裲襠 (りょうとう。うちかけ) 装束で，面をつけるがその面には「鯉口」と「人面」とがあり，太刀を帯び，鉾を持って舞う。漢代の肅慎 (しゅくしん) 国の帰徳侯の故事によった舞ともいわれ，「帰徳」とも書かれる。
